After getting caught up in a barbed wire fence, this screech owl was rehabilitated and moved to his new home in the yard of one of our employees, Sally Rich!
“This little, full grown screech owl was found caught up in some barbed wire. At the time of his rescue he was half dead, so he was taken to a local nature center that specializes in raptures. Shortly after he finished healing and completed rehabilitation, we were asked if we could provide a new home for the bird. We said “Yes!” and an owl house was put up in one of our trees. Shortly after the screech owl was placed in his new home. Screech owls are great to have on a farm as they provide a way to keep the mouse and other rodent population down.”
