A Virtual Fight to End Hunger!

Our Senior Project Manager Matt Jobin and his family have been supporting Forgotten Harvest, a local Metro Detroit area non-profit for several years now. For more than 30 years, Forgotten Harvest has worked to provide quality food, relieve hunger, and eliminate food waste to metro Detroiters. They do so by redistributing surplus food to metro Detroit families who are food-insecure and struggle to cover the cost of basic life necessities.

Forgotten Harvest holds an annual summer fundraiser called “On Track to End Hunger” which is usually a premier summer experience with live music and activities. “On Track to End Hunger” is a critical event in supporting Forgotten Harvests mission each year. This year, Matt is the Chairman of “On Track to End Hunger” and Due to the COVID-19 pandemic he has had to make changes to this years event and is now hosting a virtual fundraiser. Every $1 dollar donated to Forgotten Harvest helps provide $7 worth of groceries or approximately four meals to the community. Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, the Forgotten Harvest family has stayed focused on serving the community to the best of their ability and right now it’s never been more important to help each other.
