Fighting Hunger in Metro Detroit!

For several years our Senior Project Manager Matt Jobin and his family have been supporting Forgotten Harvest, a local Metro Detroit area non-profit. Forgotten Harvest is an organization that feeds the needy in the greater Detroit area by collecting surplus food from restaurants and grocery stores. They redistribute the surplus food to metro Detroit families who are food-insecure and struggle to cover the cost of basic life necessities. To date, Forgotten Harvest has rescued and redistributed over 46,000,000 pounds of food helping bridge the income gap for tens of thousands of people.

Each year Matt serves as a committee member for Forgotten Harvest’s annual summer fundraiser. This year’s event, called “On Track to End Hunger” was a premier summer experience featuring live music and thrill rides at M1 Concourse. Matt’s fundraising efforts helped to contribute over $18,000 of the $156,250 raised at this year’s event.
